Tonga Benjamin Mekinde (AIT) is an Advocate in Training in Kinsmen Advocates. He is a holder of a Bachelor degree in Law and a Masters in International Law. He Heads the Human Rights, Peace and Conflict Resolutions department and has over the years represented the firm competently.
Before joining Kinsmen Advocates he worked with reputable Human Rights Commission and Non – Governmental Organization as a volunteer charged with the responsibility of addressing human right violation. He has received wide appreciation for his independent and reliable reports on the field.
His published and widely read articles on “The Responsibility to Protect: An emerging norm in International law or part of sovereignty?” and “Legal Advice on Asylum Seekers, Refugees and victims of human right trafficking in Africa” has exposed him to series of international conferences.
